Nia Holland

Nia Holland

is a Ph.D. Student in the Michigan Program in Survey and Data Science at the University of Michigan. She holds an MPH in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Prior to studying at the University of Michigan, Nia graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Spelman College, where she worked as a research assistant in the NIH-NIGMS RISE Program on health research related to HIV/AIDS prevention using Pre-exposure prophylaxis among Black males. Her research interests include: health equity, mental health outcomes, and data collection with racial minorities and other hard-to-reach populations in the context of healthy aging.
